Sony is apparently set to offer every new buyer of the PSP Go an impressive ten free games with their purchase.

In fact, anyone who registered their UMD-less digital download-only handheld console after 1 April 2010 will be entitled to the wedge of games, which include LittleBigPlanet, 2010 FIFA World Cup, Grand Theft Auto and Gran Turismo.

Sony hasn’t officially announced the deal yet, but games industry trade site MCV is quoting Sony Computer Entertainment UK sales director Mark Howsen as saying, “Next month we’re launching a free ten game offer. And this isn’t just older titles – we’ve worked with third parties and there’s some really good core products.”

Great news if you were thinking of splashing out on a PSP Go, then.
