MusiQ gets militant

With Apple’s second gen Nano and Sony’s NW-S203F raising the bar for mini MP3 players, BenQ has decided the only solution is to get militant.This dog tag-styled tune vessel is codenamed MusiQ and comes in Shuffle-bothering 512MB or 1GB capacities. There’s a microSD slot for expanding the brains, and you can choose one of two designs to be etched on the back: ‘steel wings’ for the blokes and ‘magic bean’ for the girls. Best not to ask with that one we think.For added authenticity BenQ has equipped it with a cool metal earphone cable, although if the buds themselves are anything like most others you get bundled, they’ll need removing from the battlefield asap.Minus points to BenQ for using September 11th imagery to sell the player, but if you want one, they’ll be in the trenches with limited edition gift sets before Christmas, locked and loaded for MP3 war.
