Jolla smartphone now on sale in Europe

Order your Sailfish OS-powered phone today

The Jolla smartphone, a handset designed by former Nokia employees and running on a modified version of the MeeGo platform, is now available to order in Europe.

MeeGo has been modified into Sailfish, an open source operating system with a gesture-based interface and the ability to run both native and Android apps.

A Jolla good fellow

The phone also has a 4.5in Gorilla Glass screen, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB storage (plus microSD), dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 4G LTE and comes with a white case.

Jolla can be ordered here for €399 (around £335 – and that doesn’t include VAT or shipping fees), with shipping expected to take three to four weeks.
