Yep, fans of disposable tat can now pick up their very own Bic–branded phone, made by Alcatel. Well, in France at least.

Unsurprisingly, we’re not looking at too many features –just a screen and an FM radio. But then what do you expect for a tenner?

We’ve been promised we can get one in the UK by the end of the year. So, if your iPhone 3G is still making like an overpriced paperweight, you know what to get instead.

Or, if you’re feeling flush you could always spend an extra fiver on the Alcatel OT-S520
