Sharp’s new range of big-screen 4K TVs are surprisingly affordable

Size matters

Sharp thinks everyone should own a gargantuan googlebox, which is precisely why the company is bringing its four new big-screen 4K LED TVs to the UK. The new range features 60inch and 70inch screens with edge-lit LED backlighting, HDR+ support, Active Motion tech, and a built-in 2.1 Harmon Kardon audio system complete with DTS Studio Sound. Crucially, all four screens are surprisingly affordable, with prices starting at £649 for the entry-level 60inch model and topping out at £1199. That’s a lot of bang for your buck.

About

I’m a freelance games and technology journalist currently mashing my keyboard in the name of fine institutions like Stuff, where you'll usually find me waxing lyrical about the latest mobile morsels. I've also been known to cook up some decidedly delicious reviews from time to time, and was once dubbed 'the games industry's answer to Nigella Lawson' by someone probably somewhere.
