MacBook Pro deal alert! Big savings on Apple’s M5 Pro-powered laptop

Apple’s seriously powerful 14-inch laptop is available for less on Amazon US and UK

Apple MacBook Pro M5 Pro Max

If you’ve been waiting for a discount on one of the best laptops around, you’re in luck – there’s currently a MacBook Pro deal on Amazon for the 14-inch MacBook Pro with Apple’s M5 Pro chip, 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage.

Amazon US is listing the MacBook Pro at a record-low of $1983.94, down from $2199. UK buyers can also save a solid chunk of cash, with the same configuration currently reduced to £2003.97 from £2199 on Amazon UK.

This latest version of the MacBook Pro packs in a powerful M5 Pro chip with a 15-core CPU and 16-core GPU, along with Wi-Fi 7 support, Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, and enough performance for demanding creative workloads like video editing, music production, photography, and coding. And it manages to balance all that power with impressive portability and battery life, too.

Elsewhere, you’re getting Apple’s excellent 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, a superb keyboard and trackpad, strong speakers, a sharp Centre Stage webcam, and a useful selection of ports – including HDMI, Thunderbolt 5, and an SD card slot.

While Apple hasn’t dramatically changed the MacBook Pro chassis in years, the all-aluminium build still feels premium, while remaining relatively slim and portable for a machine this powerful.

Of course, this is still an expensive laptop even after the discount. But if you need serious portable performance without sacrificing battery life, display quality, or build quality, the M5 Pro MacBook Pro remains one of the best high-end laptops you can buy right now – especially when it’s on offer.
