Lego kicks off the F1 season with two Ferrari helmet sets – they’re must buys for Hamilton and Leclerc fans
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc get the Lego treatment – you can now buy helmet display sets complete with minifigs!
Lego has unveiled two new helmet display sets celebrating Scuderia Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, just as the 2026 Formula 1 season gets underway in Melbourne.
Both drivers marked the launch in style. They appeared in the Australian Grand Prix paddock carrying life-sized Lego brick-built versions of their own helmets – each made from more than 3500 bricks and weighing close to 3 kilograms.
The helmets were built by Lego Certified Professional Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught and his team. Each took 60 hours to complete.
The display sets are scaled-down versions of those showpiece builds. Both come in at around 885 pieces and recreate the drivers’ 2025 helmet designs in faithful detail.
The Charles Leclerc set features his driver number 16, the Scuderia Ferrari prancing horse, and tributes to his late father and to Jules Bianchi. It includes a signature plaque and marks the first time Leclerc has been recreated as a Lego minifigure.

The Lewis Hamilton set features his number 44 and a signature plaque. It also includes a minifigure of Hamilton — his first in a red Ferrari racing suit.
John Ho, Model Design Master at the Lego Group, said the team worked hard to capture every curve and detail. “Seeing them come to life, in a new scale, in Melbourne, in the hands of two of the best drivers in the world, is such a proud moment for the whole team,” he said.
As a devoted fan of F1, Lego (I loved the life-sized Lego F1 sets at the Miami GP last year), and Lewis Hamilton in particular, I’ll be first in the queue. These sets feel tailor-made for anyone who ticks all three boxes.

The Lego Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet (set no. 43014) and the Lego Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet (set no. 43022) are priced at US$89.99 USD / £79.99 each.
Pre-orders are available now on the Lego website, with both sets launching in Lego stores worldwide on 1 May 2026.
