Ruark’s new Tempo radio is a wooden wireless that oozes class

Radio Gaga

British audio outfit Ruark has partnered with iconic furniture designer Linley to create a stylish new DAB+ and FM radio called the Tempo. Crafted entirely in the UK, the Tempo sports an exquisite Linely marquetry design composed of four different veneers that oozes class due to the use of fine materials like solid sycamore and soft goatskin. It’d be a gorgeous addition to any bedside table or kitchen counter, and also a rather useful one thanks to its brightness-adjustable OLED screen, USB charging port, programmable dual alarm, and high-quality bluetooth receiver. Talk about a wireless wonder.

About

I’m a freelance games and technology journalist currently mashing my keyboard in the name of fine institutions like Stuff, where you'll usually find me waxing lyrical about the latest mobile morsels. I've also been known to cook up some decidedly delicious reviews from time to time, and was once dubbed 'the games industry's answer to Nigella Lawson' by someone probably somewhere.
