It was the first to bring us the DVD-eating camcorder and now Hitachi has done it all over again with the first hard disk and shiny-disc toting all-in-one.Marrying the massive storage potential of DVD and the simple editing advantage of HDD, it’s created the DZ-HS303E (pictured) and DZ-HS301E.Nestled into the oversize DVD door of each model is 8GB of storage, good for 110 minutes of high quality footage. Fill it up and you can quickly edit it before committing it to mini DVD for easy viewing. No computer needed.The 301 boasts a 1.3MP sensor while the pricier 303 gets a larger 3.3MP.Both models are scurrying into stores worldwide as we speak.
