Microsoft Surface to launch at midnight on October 25th

Microsoft plans to launch its Surface tablet at midnight on Thursday October 25th – alongside the new Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 RT. The Surface will appear in pop-up shops in the US, although UK release locations are still unclear.

The Surface is Microsoft’s big chance to cut into the Google and Apple dominated tablet and phone market – so Microsoft's under a lot of pressure.
