Samsung Galaxy S III skipping MWC 2012?

Samsung's Galaxy S III took the topspot in our best Mobile World Congress 2012 phone rumours but it looks like we got giddy too soon. According to The Verge's sources, Sammy will hold off launching its flagship Android device at the phone show in Barcelona next month and instead launch other 'interesting stuff' which could mean a new Galaxy Tab and Windows Phone handsets.
As for the Galaxy S III, we should still get to paw at one before the summer – especially as the spies within Samsung say that execs want to release the Galaxy S III quickly, in the US at least, after the announcement.
Rumour-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S III sounds impressive with an Exynos quad-core processor, Super AMOLED Plus 720p display, 2GB RAM and 3D skills set to be on board with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and TouchWiz running at launch.
We don't like to be kept waiting. Stop teasing us with amazing looking handsets in videos and unleash the real thing, Samsung. Yours impatiently.
