Samsung Display to show off flexible screens in January

The Samsung spin-off company will be at CES this year bringing bendable screens to our hands

Samsung Display, a spin-off company of Samsung Electronics, will be showing off its flexible displays at CES in January. We’ll be there to get you hands-on details, but right now we have some details of what to expect.

We should see, on display, a 5.5in screen with a 1280×720 resolution that can be bent harshly, but not rolled up – intended for mobiles. This will have a 55in big brother – we imagine ideal for bending a TV into the corner of a room. Now we just need that wrap around-OLED screen wrist watch and we’ll be happy.

Check back for our full coverage from CES 2013 in early January.
