Let’s see, a Toblerone-shaped iPod speaker dock and… ooh a nice sub in the background there and, stop, wait a minute… is that a Sony logo we see?Well bless our souls, it really is a Sony speaker dock for the Apple iPod, the main rival to and sole destroyer of its Walkman music crown. Guess if you really can’t beat them, just accessorise them. The CPF-IP001 promises to “Turn your iPod music player into a full-blown stereo system”. Hmm, where have we heard that a zillion times before? But at least that chunky subwoofer looks like it’ll give those tin cans a bit of bass boost. And good news for Walkman owners, there is an auxiliary input for non-Apple blessed players.
