Asus Eee PC T101 tablet NOT incoming?

We were getting truly excited about the Asus Eee PC T101H with its swivelling touchscreen tablet skills. It was due in the UK by August. But now…it's not. 

Reports emerging from Taiwan suggest the Asus Eee PC T91's bigger brother might not even make it onto the shelves. 

We've been coveting the Asus Eee PC T101H since we spotted it lurking beside the T91 at CES 2009. It was meant to be here in June. 

The release date soon slipped to August and now Digitimes claims it'll be out here in September "at the earliest". 

But that could be wishful thinking and the Eee PC T101H might not arrive at all. If the Eee PC T91 doesn't start flying off the shelves, the Eee PC T101 won't even be cleared for takeoff. 

With the Asus Eee PC T91 setting up back a pocket pummeling £450, it's likely that the heftier Eee PC T101 would have been even more expensive. Has it been credit crunched?
