Alan Partridge turns app-maker

I Partridge, We Need To Talk About Alan – if you've got the book, get the iPhone app

Alan Partridge is many things: beloved broadcaster, passionate sports fan and all of a sudden, app developer. Some would say that’s pushing it a little as HarperCollins – publishers of Partridge’s new autobiography – did all the leg work. Alan would probably say he was too busy at a BP garage with a mushroom slice.

The 69p app for iPhone, iPad and iPod picks up where the autobiography (also available as an audiobook) leaves off. That means audio snippets of classic anecdotes on Alan’s dictaphone, a visit to his writing room, a Partridge-approved sountrack and maybe even a bit of classic intercourse if you’re lucky.
