Assassin’s Creed III

October 31th 2012 – Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC
The newest Assassin’s Creed outing introduces a fresh-faced tomahawk-wielding assassin, Connor. Unlike previous instalments, there’s more countryside to traverse – so you’ll have to rely on Connor’s improved climbing abilities to lurk in the treetops. There’s an array of new toys to play with as well as even more brutal ways to take out targets. With the added inclusion of naval combat there should be more than enough to keep you busy when the epic conclusion is released later this year.

Dishonored

October 12th 2012 – Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC
Become a supernatural assassin in this steampunk-inspired stealth/action thriller with the ability to teleport and possess targets. The game is tailored to suit your style, so whether you want to run across rooftops guns blazing or hide in the shadows to take out your target, the decision is yours. Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda, this is definitely one to keep on your gaming radar.

Halo 4

November 6th 2012 – Xbox 360
Halo 4 marks the return of Master Chief, with some fresh weapons, a cool new suit and a crazed A.I. girlfriend to boot. With all new enemies to kill (including the legendary Forerunners), more maps and the promise of some old school trigger-happy multiplayer, Halo 4 should satisfy the appetite of loyal Haloists and Covenant-killing newcomers alike.

Watch Dogs

2013 –  Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC
In a time where sequels and prequels are the industry’s bread and butter, it’s highly refreshing to see something completely new brought to the table. Chicago is your open playground and technology is your best friend. Infiltrate CCTV, hack into mobile phones and change traffic lights to assassinate your enemies. Think GTA meets The Social Network – minus the senseless violence and status updates.

Star Wars 1313

2013 – Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC
Star Wars 1313 ditches the Jedi and lightsabers of recent games, and puts you in the shoes of a bounty hunter sent into the slums of Coruscant for some damage control. It’s essentially Uncharted in space, which looks as good as it sounds. Its jaw-droppingly beautiful graphics shown off at E3 are unlikely to find their way onto current-gen consoles, so we’re hoping that it's an early glimpse into the hallowed world of next-gen gaming.
