MacBook Pro to get 2880 x 1800 Retina Display in 2012?

Apple isn't one to leave its MacBook range behind, so we could be seeing Retina Displays to match the iPhone as early as April

We’re already expecting a super-thin MacBook Pro/ MacBook Air crossover early next year to compete with the likes of the mega portable Asus Transformer Prime and the army of ultrabooks we should see at CES. But is Apple trying to cram tons more pixels into the MacBook Pro’s screen?

DigiTimes is reporting that supply chain sources predict we’ll befeasting our eyes on 2880×1800 Retina-capable Display screens in 2012. And with iPad Retina Display rumours coming thick and fast, it might be time to put your current MacBook out to pasture.
