Does the iPhone 4S only have 512MB of RAM?
Mac Rumors reports that an Infinity Blade developer has stated that the iPhone 4S only has 512MB of RAM – the same as the iPhone 4 and iPad 2. The claim is further backed up by AppVV who has an iPhone 4S in its possession already.
If true then we expect spec-obsessed gadgeteers will be more than a little disappointed, given that competition like HTC’s Sensation XE and EVO 3D have 768MB and 1GB RAM respectively.
Although specs aren’t everything (we’ve seen the iPhone 4 running smoother than devices with double the RAM), we would expect Siri to eat up a large chunk of memory when in use.
This news also raises questions regarding Siri’s future on the iPad 2 – after all, if that has the same A5 processor and 512MB RAM as the iPhone 4S then doesn’t it deserve to get in on some sweet Siri action?
Looks like we’ll have to wait until launch day to find out more details, so stay tuned and carry on counting down the days until you and your shiny new iPhone are united.

lol sat here with the galaxy s2, and cant help but feel its very funny how desperate the apple fan boys (including most of the stuff staff) are to justify getting a new phone with an out of date spec sheet.
Oh but wait it has got one of those apple logos on it i think i might get one after all ;)

Specs are one thing, and real world usage are another.
Most consumers care about how the thing works in their hands rather than a spec arms race.
I know that the iPhone might be behind in a spec shoot-out, but because Apple controls the hardware and software, and can write the OS to get the best out of the hardware the only accurate comparison is made by using the phones in the real world ...

Who cares to carry spare phone batteries and actually spends time expanding memory on their phone while analyzing spec sheets??
The 4s is one of the fastest phones available with the easiest (no manual necessary), yet most elegant phone OS ever designed. A thing of utter beauty to behold, and hold, and interface.
Keep your faster (slightly) speced, big, cheap plastic phone with it's techy OS, and it's uttlely souless "design".
If it fulfilled you you wouldn't be posting banal comments with faux "lol"s on the phone you don't own, and don't care for in any form.

Great thing about them is that you can with them carry an ally. Bad thing is that they are pretty expensive so you should consult an engineering guide. But that is not all. You can make flying mounts as well. They are the Flying Machine Control and the Turbo-Charged Flying Machine Control. They are great and cool looking and you can sell them for great amounts of gold.

Before surgery I couldn’t see anything clearly without glasses. Even worse, all outdoor activities were a strain. Needless to say I couldn’t score many points playing basketball. At work I wasn’t able to use a computer for more than an hour before I started getting head aches. This not only affected my performance but also my attitude. Now that I’ve had the surgery I finally have a full field of vision during every waking hour. Being able to walk outside with no glasses or contacts and seeing everything is amazing. I highly recommend a Eye Disease surgery.

I would rather like to go for the 1ghz processor in the same cost of Android OS. 512 MB of RAM is not that sufficient to handle the tasks that i use to run on the phone.
