Apple invites go out for September 12th event – iPhone 5 incoming
Apple has started sending out invites to a September 12th launch event – more than likely for the new iPhone 5, going by the big "5" that appears as the shadow on the invite.
It's not particularly surprising news, since the date was leaked by Sharp's president weeks back – but it bodes well for other rumours. These include an iPhone 5 with a 4in display, a thinner body, that smaller dock connector, an underside audio jack, and finally a new nano-SIM.
Which of these rumours will become a reality remains to be seen, but at least we only have eight days to wait on tenterhooks.

only apple can repackage the same product. 3 times over and call it a new product.
i not all interested as its an iphone 4s slightly longer with different connector. wow big leap of tech there.

I wouldn't be surprised if it had all of the above but are ANY of them worth getting excited about?
It's got a new docking connector.... er yay!?
It's got a smaller sim card.... er yay again!?!
Neither of these is a selling point.
Although it does now have the phono jack in the correct place (at last)
But instead of making the screen just a bit bigger generally, so its easier to view movies on etc they opted to make it longer?!?

Personally I think, unless it has some fantastic new software then this just might be the first iphone to suck.................. just a little!
