Winner App of the Year
Sky Go

Guide price: Free for Sky Sports subscribers

Sky revamped its Mobile TV service this summer and its new iOS app Sky Go has already racked up a million downloads. This slick software for iPhone and iPad lets you stream, pause and rewind live TV from the Sky Sports and Sky Movies packages you subscribe to plus extra channels such as Sky News over Wi-Fi and 3G. The full screen EPG guide with preview window is a nice touch and while Sky Go is limited to two iOS devices, you can watch TV on both at the same time. Android users should be able to enjoy Sky Go at some point this winter.
