BenQ ZOWIE, the brand’s dedicated e-sports equipment arm has brought two ZOWIE monitors for local competitive gamers - the BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 and XL2735.
BenQ ZOWIE professional monitors have been used at the Intel Extreme Masters 2016 and at DreamHack events last year.
The BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 is a 24.5-inch 1080p TN panel that boasts an impressive native 240Hz refresh rate, for seamless game play transitions when moving your character on FPS games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch. For truly optimum performance however, BenQ recommends your gaming rig to be fitted with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series, AMD Radeon RX 480 or higher.
The larger BenQ ZOWIE XL2735 is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a more gaming conventional 144Hz refresh rate. Inside the XL2735 instead, features the BenQ ZOWIE DyAc, “Dynamic Accuracy”. This tech maintains smooth in-game movement so enemy characters don’t look like a blur when you’re trying to move and shoot.
Both monitors come with a Black eQualizer to increase visibility in dark scenes without overexposing the bright areas, an S Switch to easily switch between saved monitor preset settings, and shields on both sides to help you concentrate on the game.
