You can now use Samsung Pay for EZ-Link payments

Plus support added for other Samsung devices

Samsung Pay in Singapore is expanding to include new services and a bunch of other Samsung devices.

First up, users with EZ-Link NFC SIM can now access all their EZ-Link transactions. Whether it’s to pay for McDonalds or tap out of the MRT, you can do it all with your Samsung Pay app.

You can also use Samsung Pay for EZ-Link transactions like checking your transaction history or value balance. And if you link up the EZ-Link NFC SIM service on Samsung Pay during this month, you’ll stand a chance to win Samsung Gear IconX earbuds or a Samsung Wireless Charging Pad.

There’s also a new Barcode Loyalty program that lets you add your loyalty cards from participating merchants into Samsung Pay for collection and redemption. Just scan any membership card with a barcode into the app, and you’ll no longer need to carry around multiple cards in your wallet.

Both services are supported on the Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5, while EZ-Link service is additionally supported on the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7, and will be available on the Galaxy A9 Pro later this year.

The mobile payment service will also be available on the Gear S3 upon its release. Just input your card details via the Samsung Gear app on your smartphone, and you’ll be able to make payments on the go using your smartwatch.

You might have gone cashless for a while now, but looks like it’s a good time to start going cardless too.
