Xiaomi releases noise-cancelling earphones for 12.12

A premium product that's priced very reasonably

Xiaomi has just launched noise-cancelling headphones, available from today, 12 December.

A lot for a little

They feature Japanese-standard hi-res audio with CD-level quality, made possible via a moving coil and acoustic architecture housed within an ergonomic earplug design with a soft cone.

Available in black, the earphones also come with a control panel that has volume, pause and two-speed noise reduction controls supporting 50-1500Hz active noise reduction and 20db maximum noise suppression. The metal used in the earphones is 6-series aluminum alloy, and there's a built-in 55mAh battery chargeable via a micro-USB port.

Charging takes two hours and Xiaomi claims the earphones can last for up to 12 hours of continuous usage.

All this at a surprisingly affordable price of RMB299 (S$60). The earphones are currently only available in China, but we know you resourceful folks will find a way to get your hands on a pair.
