Xiaomi is planning to launch two new phones soon, both of which will be part of its pocket-friendly Redmi line.

The phones are the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, both with fullscreen displays. While the Redmi 5 will have a 5.7in HD screen, the Redmi 5 Plus will sport a larger 5.99in display.
The former will also come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, with a variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. A 12MP cam will sit in the back while the front will have a 5MP one.
The Redmi 5 Plus will run the Snapdragon 625 processor and have a dual-cam setup in the rear featuring a pairing of a 12MP sensor with a 5MP sensor. Pricing is estimated at RMB699 (S$143) for the Redmi 5 and RMB999 (S$204) for the Redmi 5 Plus.
As for the next flagship, it's rumoured the Mi 7 will feature wireless charging - which means that the next Xiaomi flagship will have a glass back. It will apparently be announced in March 2018. More news on that once it becomes official.
