What's On in Singapore this weekend (Jun 10 - 12)

Singapore Coffee Fest is finally here! As are a bunch of pool parties, some fun events for bookworms and lots more.

It's another packed weekend in Singapore, with parties on riverboats, fierce MMA fights, poolside revelry and some laid-back farmers markets to choose from. Here's the lowdown.

Friday, Jun 10


The Red Dot Museum’s monthly market, MAAD Sounds! , is back, with live music by DEON, SUPERSECT and Knightingale and DJ Minimal Simplicity on the decks in between. Shopping with a line-up like this, and a 5pm start time, it’s more of a party.


We're excited to be official media for the first-ever Singapore Coffee Fest, with over 100 exhibitors and activities focusing on Singapore's coffee heritage as well as live music from local acts and a beauty pop-up by Shiseido. (Jun 10-12)


Soak in the atmosphere at the SFC 3 The Next Chapter and watch Singapore’s first female professional boxer, Nurshahidah "The Sniper" Rosli, and fighter Tiffany "Soul Crusher" Teo battle international MMA fighters in an epic showdown. 


The second edition of the Bandwagon Riverboat party is a two-night affair and will feature live music and carnival activities on the three decks of Stewords Riverboat at Marina South Pier. (Jun 10-11)


Making Filipino lechon sexy, Iskina Cebu is having a one-off Lechon Friday night special at Park Bench Deli, with a menu featuring lechon sandwiches, sisig dirty fries, booze and more along with music by Drem aka Dre Reyes from Matteblacc.


Gentle Bones will be performing at the Esplanade Concert Hall, with opening sets by ectronic duo [.gif] and singer songwriter Linying. It's sold out, but you can put out a call for tickets on the Facebook page. (Jun 10-11)

Tanjong Beach Club kicks off their new Summer Strip: An Eternal Pool Party Series with this quirky Vegas-themed event packed with a poolside roulette, an “instant wedding booth”, champagne showers and Vegas showgirls and a roster of DJs.

T Party,the crew promoting free parties in Singapore, is celebrating its first birthday at Owl Bar with seven DJs spinning electro, techno, trance and psy,a pool party, and $10 beers and cheap spirits and mixers. 

The SRYNTSRY Pool Party is happening at Sofitel So Singapore, with DJs Oliver Osborne, Victoria, JNR, Who is Malik, with a sweet $10 cover and good drink deals. 


The monthly Farmer’s Market at Loewen Gardens is happening this weekend, with lots of organic produce and pantry stockers. Jun 11

Sunshine Nation is hosting the fourth edition of Electric Kitchen with Peer Kusiv at MEATliquor SIN, serving up electro music after dinner. For tickets click here. (Jun 10-11)


HK-based multi-label design store Kapok is turning 10 and is celebrating with a themed birthday party at their National Design Centre branch. There will be coffee, food, lucky draws, live music and a stripes-only dress code.

The Gotong Royong Ramadhan Flea is on at Aliwal Arts Centre as part of a charity project, with cosmetics, beauty products and watches. You can also donate clothes at the event.

Open Farm Community is having its next Social Market featuring local food stuff from Guerilla SeedsGosnells London Mead and more, and other fun stuff like coconut shakes and locally-made granolas, painting, yoga and live music. (Jun 11-12)


Books and Beer is celebrating their fifth anniversary with book launches and sharing sessions and not forgetting the food and beer, this is definitely one for the nerds who are looking to book-swap and party.


National Gallery Singapore is hosting the Common Grounds Gallery Open House with a lineup of music and dance performances like the LINDY HOP and Kulcha, art activities and installations like the Disappearing Hawker Stall and more. (Jun 11-12)


The Nature Society is leading the Forest Clean Up at Pulau Ubin. Wander the woods learning all about the ecosystem and cleaning it up as you go along. It starts bright and early, and there is only room for 25 participants.


Singapore is having its first ever Juice Crawl. Instead of drinking alcohol, you'll be drinking nutrient-packed juices after an hour of Hatha yoga. Get your tickets on Peatix

Local community event platform Funzing Singapore is rolling out an outdoor kickboxing class at the Botanic Gardens. Best of all, it's only $5.

There will be a Dragon boat session for beginners with the Armada. It's only $10 which includes beer, water and 100Plus after the session.


The season finale of The Shuffle is happening at Koi Izakaya, turning the Haji Lane alley into a dance party with disco records played by DJs Shellsuit and Funk Bast*rd from 9pm onwards.

The annual Singapore Street Festival (SSF) is back, celebrating its 15th anniversary at Bugis Street and Far East Plaza with a bunch of art pieces and performances by local artists. (Jun 8-Jul 3)


Page One is having a major pop-up book sale at Great World City's atrium with up to 90 percent off on art, design, architecture, hobby and craft books and even a selection of bargain books. (Jun 12-14)


Carnivorious restaurant Salted & Hung is having its official launch with a street party from 3pm onwards on Purvis Street, with plenty of street grub, tap beer and a pop-up bar.

Sand Bar at Sentosa is hosting The Beach Backyard for the family while still offering cool activities for adults like beer-pong and music by local DJs alongside their barbecue food and drinks.
