Vivo's classy X20 World Cup edition

The phone will be used by FIFA officials during next year's World Cup in Russia

Remember when Samsung had a special Olympics edition of its phone? Now that Vivo is a sponsor of next year's FIFA World Cup in Russia, it's released something similar: a special World Cup edition of the Vivo X20.

Football frenzy

From the photos, the phone will have a black finish as well as World Cup branding. It's pretty sleek and will be used by FIFA officials during the World Cup.

There've been no pictures or videos yet of the display and what it will look like once turned on, but we're hoping for a World Cup wallpaper, at the very least.

As for specs, the phone won't differ from the standard X20 model. That means a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 12MP front camera and a dual-camera setup of 12MP and 5MP at the rear. All this juiced up by a 3250mAh battery with a 6.01in Full HD edge-to-edge screen.

No announcement has been made yet about whether the phone will be made available to the public, but we'll let you know if and when it becomes available. Or you could just start applying to work at FIFA now.
