Yet more choices for lovers of full-screen displays on phones: Vivo's just launched the X20 and X20 Plus.

It's not the first time Vivo's gone full-screen display. The Vivo V7 Plus was recently launched in India, also featuring the same.
With a 3D arc design, it also features a 1.8mm U-shaped antenna line integrated into the body. As for the specs, both phones have a Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of RAM. But the X20 has a choice of 64GB and 128GB storage while the X20 Plus maxes out at 64GB. The smaller phone has a 6.01in Super AMOLED 18:9 display, while the Plus version has a 6.43in version.
Battery-wise, the X20 has a nice 3245mAh battery, with the Plus having a larger 3905mAh one to match its size. Also of note is the inclusion of HiFi audio with an AK4376A chip on the X20 and the Plus has an ES9318 DAC and amp.
The phones are running Android 7.1.1 out of the box, with the FunTouch OS3.0 on top, with Vivo even including its own built-in AI assistant. Also new: face recognition, or what Vivo calls its Face Wake system, that detects up to 128 facial features before unlocking. A normal fingerprint sensor is also included.
As for a camera, you get dual rear cameras on both phones in a 12MP and 5MP combination, though the 12MP f/1.8 sensor supports taking images up to 24MP while the front camera sports a 12MP f/2.0 sensor.
The price is RMB2998 (S$615) for the 4GB RAM/64GB model and RMB3398 (S$700) for the 128GB phone while the Plus will cost RMB3498 (S$720). You can choose between gold, rose gold and matte black. They're currently on preorder beginning 25 September with official sales starting 30 September.
