Being stuck in traffic is the biggest pet peeve for any driver. So it shouldn't be surprising that TomTom new latest GPS navigators has the solution for that - directing you out of traffic jams.
The newly minted TomTom Go series doesn’t miraculously eliminate traffic or herd your vehicle through the jam. Instead, it lets you view detailed reports of traffic incidents and traffic jam alerts so that you’ll be able to steer away from them and take the fastest detour available.
It also comes with features that include traffic overview, traffic detail, traffic jam alerts, alternate route viewer, as well as an accurate arrival time indication.
It also sports a refreshed user interface, equipped with lifetime TomTom traffic and map updates, along with an interactive map of 3D buildings and landmarks. This is in addition to the standard elements like quick search, route bar, my places, and the alternative route planner.
The new range includes three TomTom Go models – the TomTom Go 50, the TomTom Go 500, and the TomTom Go 600 – and they cost S$249, S$299, and S$349 respectively, available from retailers such as Challenger and Harvey Norman.
