These are the last few leaks of the iPhone 6

Time check – we’re only hours away from Apple’s event in Cupertino. And just as we prepare ourselves for it, a wave of leaks has surfaced, putting the iPhone 6 in the spotlight. You might want to read this; it may be the last bit of rumour you get about the smartphone.

China Mobile has been active in releasing information about the mobile device, and it’s not backed down even at the last moments leading up to its unveil. This time, it’s leaked specs of the iPhone 6.

Unlike past leaks, it claims the 4.7in unit (measuring 138mm x 67mm x 7mm) will house an Apple A8 chipset with quad-core CPU, an 8MP back camera and a 2.1MP front-facing snapper.

It will also apparently have a screen, with 1134 x 750 pixel resolution, covered by sapphire glass, 16, 32, 64, and 128GB of built-in memory, as well as water and dust resistance. But, China Mobile didn’t disclose any information about the 5.5in model.

Another source has some news..

But a Japanese source seems to have some news about the device – rumour has it that it will be called the iPhone 6 Plus instead of iPhone 6L.

It may seem odd considering that Apple’s never named any of its smartphones anything besides “iPhone” (insert number here), sometimes with a C/S, but there might be some credibility to the source considering it got the predicted names of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C right.

It mentions that the device could possibly run on iOS 8 optimised for landscape apps, but adds that it may only hit retail stores sometime in December this year. We’ll be bringing the news to you as soon as the unveil happens, so keep a watch out.
