Sony SmartBand 2 leaked on Play Store

Maybe it'll be second time lucky for Sony

We are not sure if this is a new marketing strategy by Sony, accidentally putting up its new product and publishing its information on the Play Store to attract customers.

A lot of talk has been going on about Sony making a new and improved version of its existing SmartBand. The SmartBands are made to help users track their daily activities in their life, and the new SmartBand 2 has a heart monitor, which gives it a plus to being a health tracker. It works together with a new app, yes, the one leaked on to the Play Store which looks better than Sony’s current Lifelog app.

The SmartBand 2 is a pedometer, and tracks your sleeping patterns and alerts you when you have incoming calls, messages and alarms. It also has a dedicated button for you to screenshot all the data on the current screen, which is for recording moments in your life you deem meaningful.

The release date for the SmartBand2 has not been stated but knowing that the app is already in the store, we don’t expect that we will be waiting long.
