Two sleek phones and an interactive projector that’s straight from the movies are what’s going on at Sony starting June.
From the world’s very first 4K HDR display on a smartphone, to a projector that turns any surface into an interactive touch screen, this is what you need to know about Sony’s line-up.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium (S$1098)
The Xperia XZ Premium packs a bunch of features, but the one making the headlines is the new 4K HDR display. It incorporates Sony’s BRAVIA TV technology on a 5.5” screen for a sharp and vivid viewing experience. Now before you get too excited, while 4K displays are serious specs, it may just be too many pixels for you to tell the difference even from a 1080p screen. You really have to stick your nose right in there to make out the tiny pixels of the screen.
What’s definitely exciting is the new Motion Eye camera that records at 960fps of super slow-mo and 4K, so you can enjoy catching epic moments with superb video quality. It also houses a Qualcomm 835 Mobile Platform, providing it with Gigabit Class LTE – up to 1Gbps.
Psyched? You can beat the crowd and pre-order the Sony Xperia XZ Premium from 26 May to 9 June at Sony Stores, Sony Centres and on Lazada Singapore. You will also receive a promotion bundle worth more than S$200 that includes a pair of Sony High Resolution noise cancelling in-ear headphones (MDR-EZ750NA), a cool USB charging dock (DK60) and a clear phone cover.
It's available in Deepsea Black and Luminous Chrome (we're all about the latter). If you're looking for the Bronze Pink, it will only be available from July onwards.
