Singapore, you can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on 26 February

Whether you're getting it from Samsung, M1, Singtel or StarHub, you could land one unit from as early as 11 March

Just unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung is making the phones available very soon in Singapore with registrations of interest opening from 26 February, 10 am.

M1, StarHub and Singtel will all be taking the registrations at the following websites (best you bookmark them if you need to):

To pre-order the phones without a contract, just head on to the nearest Samsung Experience store from Feb 26 and put down a $50 deposit. All successful pre-orders will receive a Samsung Gear VR worth S$148 on 11 March along with their phones. The phones themselves will be made widely available from March 12 onwards.

As for pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will retail for $998 while the Galaxy S7 Edge is going for $1,098. Both the S7 and S7 Edge come with 32GB of internal storage. Don't panic, because this year, your Samsung smartphones will allow microSD expandability, so you can go nuts and chuck in a 200GB microSD for good measure.

As part of the lead-up to the launch, Samsung is also holding a consumer carnival, S7 Delights, at VivoCity Central Court from 7pm-10pm (2 March) and 10am-10pm (3 to 6 March). The event will showcase not just the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge but also the various linkups to its accessories such as the Gear VR and Samsung SmartThings.
