This is the one time you see something half-naked and you shouldn’t turn away.
It’s not anything raunchy, just Xmi’s latest X-mini Clear speaker. As the name suggests, it's partially transparent from its rear and is further enhanced with 3-mode mood lighting that pulsates with different kinds of music (yes, we’re still talking about a speaker here).
The Singapore born company unveiled its latest device, which happens to be its 49th product in the X-mini collection to honour Singapore’s recent 49th National Day. Go on, we know you want to go awww at this gesture.
But don’t let its X-mini name fool you to thinking it's another capsule speaker – it's actually Xmi’s largest speaker that comes with a custom 2.1 audio system and a 70mm active long-throw subwoofer. In addition, it boasts ceramic drivers that creates distinct, separates low bass sounds.
Clean, clear audio
“Size does matter for sound, but because we have spent so many years seeking to make excellent sound in small circumstances, we know we can make an even greater sound in other circumstances,” Xmi founder, Ryan Lee, said.
In addition to that, it also has NFC and Bluetooth wireless connection capabilities (that go as far as 10m), a noise-cancelling microphone that filters background disturbances during wireless calls, as well as smartphone charging abilities.
Xmi’s X-mini Clear will be available in Singapore in a black colour from October for S$299. But here's a sweet deal - pre-order it during Comex between 28 to 31 August at Suntec Singapore for a discounted price of S$199. As if S$100 off the usual price isn't enough, Xmi is also throwing a free X-mini Max Capsule Speaker into the mix for pre-orders.
