You’ve got an iPhone, or iPad (or both) and have been using the iCloud, or physically connecting your device to your Mac or PC via USB cable, to transfer across your content seamlessly.
But what if your iCloud doesn’t have much back-up space (duh, you have to pay to get more Cloud storage)? And you got to admit, physically connecting your device to your PC and then downloading or uploading content can be a lengthy process.
That’s where SanDisk’s iXpand Flash Drive comes in handy. It’s the company’s first USB flash drive that is designed to manage content across your iPad and iPhone. And there’s no need for those cables, bandwidth limitations, or Internet connections.
Super easy usage
All you need is the iXpand sync app, which mind you, will be prompted for download when the iXpand Flash Drive is connected to your iPad or iPhone. It can then be configured to automatically sync your snaps and videos from the camera roll to the drive.
Plus, it also acts as a USB stick if you want to store your movies on the drive and play them on your Apple mobile device.
But there’s something you need to take note of – the device is only compatible with an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, ipad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini – and they all must be running on iOS 8 or iOS 7.
It comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities and is priced at S$88, S$128, and S$188 respectively. You can pick it up from Challenger Technologies, Sprint-Cass, EpiCenter, iStudio, or Nubox in Singapore.
