Samsung's rugged version of the Galaxy S6 has some sweet specs

An option for those of us with a penchant of dropping phones too often

Another day, another leak of Samsung phone models. This time it looks like Samsung's updating its Galaxy S5 Active in line with the upcoming Galaxy S6. The Active line with its waterproof and dustproof features appealed to users who wanted their phones to take a bit more of a beating. Since it's fairly positive there will be an update, there must be a healthy demand for the model.

Bigger, tougher phone?

While it seems pretty certain the S6 Active is coming, the leaks haven’t quite been consistent. A few days ago, it was said to have a 5.5-inch screen but the latest claim is that it will have the same 5.1-inch QHD (2,569 x 1,440) panel as the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Besides the same screen, apparently the S6 will also share the same Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, as well as 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory as well as a 16MP camera (rear) with 5MP on the front-facing camera.

One noted difference is, however, the 3,500 mAh battery. It's much larger than the other S6 models and even bigger than the Galaxy Note.
