Even though the Samsung Galaxy Alpha didn’t quite come in to Singapore all guns blazing, the South Korean multi-national electronics company intends to do so with the launch of its Samsung Galaxy Alpha 4G+ variant.

And what’s so different about this unit? The 6.7mm thin, metal framed Galaxy Alpha 4G+ will actually be one of the first smartphones in Singapore to support up to 300Mbps 4G+ LTE-Advanced connectivity that SingTel’s been busy rolling out.

If you recall, just a few weeks back, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ will be the first ever smartphone to support this world’s first commercial 300Mbps 4G LTE-Advanced service, so the Galaxy Alpha 4G+ is now following suit.

What this means for you, is that you’ll be able to enjoy speedy streaming of your favourite shows, quick content download, and faster Web browsing on this mobile device.

Feature packed and lightweight

You’ll also get the Samsung specific flagship features such as Ultra Power Saving Mode, Enhanced S Health, Fingerprint Security, and the Private Mode.

The Galaxy Alpha 4G+ will be available in Singapore for S$948 from 13 September. You’ll be able to pick it up from all of the telco operators, authorised mobile retailers, major consumer electronics stores and from any of the Samsung Experience Stores.

It will come in two colour options – charcoal black and dazzling white but if you’re after the frosted gold option, you’ll have to wait till the end of September.
