Battery issues are again plaguing Samsung, though in a less explosive way than before.
Now it seems some Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8 Plus users are experiencing problems with their device batteries - once the batteries reach the zero juice mark, users have been unable to charge their phones.
Samsung has responded to this with a statement:
Of course, Samsung is taking all reports of this kind seriously, we only received a very small number of customer inquiries that could be linked to charge management, and unfortunately we can only comment on the matter further if we have more detailed information about the affected devices.
Not the most heartening response, but at the very least customers know that tech giant is aware of the problem. Have a faulty unit? Take it into a service centre. If you haven't encountered the issue, best not to run the battery down to empty.
