Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition comes to Singapore on 4 June

Pair it with a Samsung Galaxy S6 and you’ll gain a new perspective on reality

Virtual reality (VR) is back in the game, and from 4 June, you’ll get to experience it through the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition headset.

The good news, you ask? It won’t burn a hole in your pocket at S$298. The only caveat is that you’ll need a Samsung Galaxy S6 (which costs at least S$998) for the headset to work.

The three telcos, M1, Singtel and StarHub, will be selling the VR headset. Alternatively, you can get it from the Samsung Experience Stores or major electronic retailers such as Courts and Challenger. Too busy to visit a physical store? There’s also an online shopping option via
