It's the season of edge-to-edge display smartphones and the Oppo R11s looks set to continue the trend.
The phone is set to launch in China 2 Nov and while it looks fairly interesting display-wise, there are some small niggles. Such as why the phone is going with a micro-USB port instead of a Type-C one.
What it will have is an edge-to-edge display and a 3.5mm audio jack. The display will apparently have 18:9 resolution, Full HD and be somewhere between 5.8in and 6in. Camera-wise, there'll be two 20MP sensors as well as a Snapdragon 660 processor, alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, all housed in a black, gold or red body.
Overall it sounds like a very capable midrange phone, and will possibly be heavy competition for the upcoming OnePlus 5T. May the best midrange smartphone win!
