Nokia unveils its first tablet
Nokia might be out of the smartphone making space, but it’s not totally disappeared as yet. It’s attempting to make its mark in the tablet space, with the unveiling of its new Nokia N1 tablet. Even though it looks similar to the iPad mini and has the same sceen resolution, it runs on Android and has a bunch of other cool features.
Snapchat takes a bold step into in-app payments
Snapchat has finally made its much-awaited move. As we all already know, the company filed patents for payment-centric trademarks a few months ago, and now has officially unveiled SnapCash, its in-app payments venture. The solution was created in partnership with Square, but will only be made available in the US for now.
Leaks of the Xiaomi Mi5 surface
We’re yet to see the Xiaomi Mi4 on our shores but news of its purported successor is making the rumour mill spin. The Xiaomi Mi5 has been said to be pictured in the production line and apparently, it will boast some pretty impressive features such as a bezel-free design and a 2.5d curve to its display.
The alleged ZTE Nubia Z9 looks like an iPhone 6
Don’t be mistaken – this is not the picture of the next iPhone, or the iPhone 6 for that matter. It might look alike but it’s actually the purported image of the ZTE Nubia Z9. You can expect really thin lateral bezels and even a distinguishing red circle indicating the “Home” button. Let’s hope more leaks surface in the coming months.
