Daredevil gets to pummel more villains on Netflix in 2016

Marvel's blind vigilante gets the green light for a second season on the streaming service

Daredevil, the Marvel superhero series on Netflix, has announced there will be a second season (can you hear the screams of excited fanboys in the distance) sometime in 2016.

There are no other details released yet but be sure to expect more bloody action as the hero delves darker into Hell’s Kitchen’s devious underworld and battles villains.

The new season will continue to feature Charlie Cox, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D’Onofrio, but producers said there will be some changes in the off-screen lineup. For starters, Daredevil’s first season showrunner Steven DeKnight has been replaced by Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, who worked on Buffy and Sons of Anarchy respectively.

A year may be quite a long wait for a new season, but with the great reception the first series received, you know what they say about good things being worth the wait.
