Microsoft's Surface Pro LTE outed online

UK retailer reveals pricing prior to upcoming London launch

Microsoft is expected to launch the Microsoft Surface Pro LTE next month in London. Seems one UK retailer is already happily sharing the device's price before launch.

As the launch event will be held in London, it's no surprise that the first details of its pricing emerged there. The UK-based retailer has already started taking preorders for the Surface Pro LTE and has revealed initail specs and pricing.

So how much for the privilege? £1402 (S$2560) for a Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is about £153 (S$280) more for the same device without the LTE connectivity. Expect the same markup across the other model configurations in the Surface Pro range. The retailer said that the devices would be delivered in December, just in time for the holiday season.

It's a bit funny that Microsoft didn't just launch both the LTE and non-LTE versions at the same time; let's hope Microsoft has more to launch at the event than just LTE-capable Surface Pro machines.
