Meizu's latest phone, the Meizu MX6, is apparently so popular that 3.2 million people registered for the phone's upcoming flash sale.
Recently announced, the phone is a slightly less powerful counterpart to the Meizu Pro 6 but still offers quite a good deal for what you're getting. The response to the phone's announcement has been so good, its main website is currently down from all the traffic.
What can you expect from the MX6? It has a 5.5in Full HD display, with a deca-core Helio X20 chipset, Mali-T880 GPU, 32GB of storage, 4GB of RAM, a 3060mAh battery that supports fast charging, 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
The camera is of particular interest as it is apparently the first phone to utilise a custom Sony IMX386 CMOS sensor. All this for just RMB1999 (S$410), which is a very good price - and explains just why there was a rush to register for the upcoming flash sale happening 30 July.
No word as yet when and if the phone will make it here, but there's a good chance it might if the MX6 sells well. So keep an eye out for this phone if you'd like to give a Meizu phone a try.
