Meizu announces a smaller Meizu M2 Note

So do we still call a smaller phablet a phablet?

The smaller version of the Meizu M2 Note is finally here and it has an affordable price tag with mid-range specs. The Meizu M2 is made to give you your money’s worth.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6795 1.3GHz chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, a Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. As for storage, you are given 16GB of internal storage but you can push it up to 128GB with the microSD card slot. The Meizu M2 has pretty decent camera sensors with the main shooter being a 13MP f/2.2 Samsung sensor and the front shooter is a 5MP f/2.0.

The M2 will be running on Flyme 4.5 OS built on Android 5.1 and all the wonderful graphics will be displayed on a 5-inch 1280 x 720p IPS LCD with AGC Dragontrail glass protection. The device supports dual SIM with LTE but the second SIM slot doubles as a microSD slot so you cant have both. Its juiced by a 2,500mAh battery and will cost US$112and will come in four different colours: white, gray, blue and pink.
