AV artist Jacques-André Dupont has created a magical installation using nothing but masking tape and 3D mapping projections.

On its own, we suppose the flat 2D city made from white masking tape is sort of impressive, but the magic really starts when the lights go off and the projectors kick into action.

From flickering lights, to sunlight beaming its way across the virtual skyline, it's a mesmerising example of how art and technology can come together to turn you into a gormless staring zombie for a few minutes.

Now if you'll excuse us we're off to B&Q to get a cartload of tape. There's a robot apocalypse art installation that we've been dying to create, and we've just found the perfect medium.
