Latest Google Pixel images, specs leak in listings

New smartphones from Google will be running the latest Snapdragon 821 processor

It looks like the new Google Pixel has made it into online phone listings, leaking some promising photos as well as the specs sheet.

Unlimited storage ahoy

The listings look pretty accurate, in the style of Google's typical splash pages with full colour snaps of the phone with a listing of the phone specs.

Most interesting is that it's running the latest Snapdragon 821 processor, clocked at 2.15GHz. THere's also 4GB of RAM and a choice of either 32GB or 128GB of storage.

As for the display, it's an AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 4, 1080p for the Pixel, 1440p for the Pixel XL. As for battery size, the smaller phone as a 2700mAh battery while the XL has a 3450 battery, the same size as the Nexus 6P.

Of course, being Nexus phones, they'll be running the latest Android N out of the box. Other things to look out for is quick charging over USB Type-C, Google Assistant and also Live Cases.

What can you expect from the camera? Nothing overly fancy: just a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera with OIS. While there is a mention of a microSD card, this could be an error on the listing as the previous Nexus line did not include external storage. Still, we won't know for sure until the phone makes its official debut.
