IKEA's latest campaign can help you chill out

Stressed out? This new viral sensation could help with that

If you haven't heard of ASMR, it basically stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response which can be activated by listening closely to the friction of your fingers running through your every day items.

And there's no better company to take advantage of this trending YouTube genre than the Swedish furniture store whose meatballs we all love.

Their latest campaign, named "Odly IKEA", aims to highlight some back to school items for collage dorms by caressing their hands through them while a slightly creepy voice narrates. The video is around 25 minutes long but if you dont have the attention span for that, have a go at their bite-sized clips on their channel.

This trend has been on the rise recently garnering millions of views that has claimed to send listeners waves of calmness and relaxes one's mind. Similar to listening to rain or white noise when you sleep.

But if you're looking for something to put you on the edge of your seat, Dunkirk's official soundtrack has been known to build tension.

Seems ridiculous, we know. But as the meme says - "if it looks stupid but works, it ain't stupid".
