The Huawei Mate 10 series launched on 26 October in Singapore, the first country in the world to be introduced to Huawei's latest and perhaps greatest range of smartphones that feature breakthrough AI.
UPDATE 9/11/17: The Mate 10 Pro in Midnight Blue, which was originally scheduled to be released on 25 November, will now be released on 11 November together with the Mocha Brown version. This will make Singapore the first country in the world to debut both colours.
At the event at Funan Showsuite, guests were taken through five zones to experience the phone's much-talked-about camera, power and speed. All well and good, but ultimately it boils down to pricing, and that was also revealed at the event.
The Huawei Mate 10 (4GB/64GB; available in Mocha Brown and Black) debuts tomorrow at S$888. At the other end of the series' spectrum sits the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 (6GB/256GB; in Diamond Black), which will be available from 24 November at S$2298.
The 6GB/128GB Huawei Mate 10 Pro, perhaps the most hotly anticipated in the series, checks out at a very competitive S$1098, making it one of the most affordable premium phones amongst this season's battle of the titans (iPhone X, Google Pixel 2 XL and Samsung Galaxy S8 included). The Mocha Brown version will be available from 11 November and the Midnight Blue from 25 November.
Can't wait to plonk down your cash? The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will retail at the usual stores, while the Porsche Design model will only be available at selected Huawei concept stores, Sprint Cass outlets within Changi Airport transit areas, and online via Lazada.sg.
