Huawei's set to launch three phones in its Mate line, with the Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and the Lite being the models involved. News has leaked from regular tipster Evan Blass about the Lite and it looks as though the phone will have a dual-camera setup in front and back.
A different combo
What's different this time, is that the pairings will be different from the usual setup. While there'll be a 16MP camera in the back and 12MP in the front, each will be paired up with a smaller 2MP camera instead of equally-sized sensors.
It could be a cost-cutting measure, considering the Lite version is usually the lower-specced, better-priced variant. As for other specs, expect a 2.36GHz Kirin 659 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3340mAh battery.
Still it's obvious the selling point on the smartphone will be the cameras, though considering the Huawei will also have the Nova 2i, you wonder which would be the differentiator between the two. It's likely the Mate 10 Lite could be the more wallet-friendly alternative. We'll see once the phones make their official debut in a few more weeks.
