It's pretty much confirmed that HTC is making the Pixel 2, thanks to documents from a recent Federal Communications Commission filing.
There's going to be two Pixel phones, one smaller, one larger - the smaller one being made by HTC, but it's not confirmed who will be making the larger model.
What's evident from the filing is that the new Google Pixel will be pretty much optimised for the US market, what with its support for the radio bands used by all four of the US' mobile carriers. It's also listed as running on Android 8.0 and using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor.
Other leaks have revealed the phone will likely come with 64GB base storage and will also skip the headphone jack, a decision that could alienate some users.
Now that details about the HTC-made Pixel have come out, expect details about the larger phone to be out soon.
